About David
David Savage is an ecologist, technologist, and conservationist passionate about the use of technology to track ecosystem health and function, understand the impacts of human activity on the world, and empower conservation and sustainability projects with effective monitoring.
He did undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, graduating with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.
He then worked for three years in monitoring at the consulting company Conservation Metrics, Inc.
He is currently pursing Doctoral studies at Purdue University’s Center for Global Soundscapes
Following completion of his studies, David is beginning a US Department of Energy sponsored fellowship at the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission
